Beaches
The aptly named 'Long Beach' is also only a 10 minute walk away. The long, sandy beach and crystal-clear water of Long Beach are ideal for swimming, water sports and peaceful sunbathing. The water here is clean and safe - ideal for families.
There are several other beaches within easy reach of the villa. Click here for further info |

Water Sports/Parks
The Kusadasi area is ideal for water sports such as scuba diving, sailing, surfing, parasailing, water skiing, jet-skiing, canoeing, pedaloing, windsurfing (Dilek Peninsula in particular) and fishing! There are also three water parks in the region: Adaland, Aqua Fantasy and Aqualand. Aqualand is only 10 minutes walk from the villa and the other two are a dolmus away!

Pigeon Island
Unlike it's name suggests, 'Pigeon Island' is not infested with pigeons! The stunning island, connected to the mainland by a walk way, offers the best views of Kusadasi. Spend time on the island, visit the impressive castle and wind away the hours watching the yachts sail peacefully by with a drink in hand. I recommend the 'Panorama Cafe', it should not be missed!
There are also a number of restaurants by the shore serving fresh sea-food and other Aegean specialities! |

Ephesus
Ephesus is the best preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean, and among the best places in the world enabling one to genuinely 'soak in' the atmosphere of Roman times. The site is large. In fact, Ephesus contains the largest collection of Roman ruins East of the Mediterranean. Only an estimated 15% has been excavated. The ruins that are visible give some idea of the city's original splendour, and the names associated with the ruins are evocative of its former life. Click here for more info |

The hand woven carpets, rugs and shoulder bags of the region have eye catching designs and make excellent souvenirs. There are other local produce such as wood carvings and earthenware also. There are many shops in Kusadasi seling all of these kinds of goods, plus other local art. A look around the shops is well worth the effort!
